Giving Back: Truscott Property sponsors Scottish Love in Action’s 2025 Fireworks Extravaganza

As a trusted Edinburgh estate agent based in Morningside, Truscott Property’s work is about more than selling: it’s about homes, communities, and nurturing the people who live in them. For that reason, we have supported local events since our creation in 2017, giving back to our community and making a difference both here at home and further afield.

Since 2019, our boutique estate agency has proudly sponsored the charity Scottish Love in Action’s annual Morningside fireworks show, and we’re delighted to continue our partnership by supporting the 2025 SLA Fireworks Extravaganza this Sunday 2nd November!

What does Scottish Love in Action do?

Scottish Love in Action (also known as SLA) is a charity dedicated to helping vulnerable children and young people in India build safe, happy, and fulfilling lives, tackling physical, emotional, educational, and economic poverty. They focus on children who are living in poverty, orphaned, or at risk, often living on the streets in highly volatile environments. SLA then provides them with housing and education, but also with emotional support and life skills, helping them build a future for themselves.

One of their standout projects is the ASRITHA Rainbow Home, which gives girls living on the streets of Hyderabad a safe and supportive home where they receive education, nutrition, and life skills. With ASRITHA’s holistic care programme, the project ensures that former street children have the chance to thrive both academically and emotionally.
